Works fine.: Network adapter

Nothing to say, I use it to power a Google fiber port and it handles a gigabit connection with no problem. Does what it should and is cheaper than comparable devices. I have no idea why the review asked how I would rate the wifi signal.

Excellent gigabit injectors for high temperature environments

These are excellent mid-range gigabit injectors. I paid a bit more for this brand because of the higher operating temperature: 0°C50°C (32°F 122°F). Other brands were cheaper but had lower operating temperatures. Since they gathered in the attic, this was a very important factor. FYI, the "Wall Wart" adapter that powers this module runs horizontally and is slightly larger than a regular wall outlet plug, so you can't put two of these next to each other. If you have another bulky plug and only…

  • Regular price
Cons
  • No form required

Exactly what I needed.

Paired with a TRENDnet TPE-104GS splitter and a 100ft Cat7 run to power the GREENnet gigabit switch, it all works great. My injector is powered by the UPS so the switch stays active during a power outage, which is great as a single UPS can power multiple remote switches/routers/modems around the house.

Cons
  • Functionality

Very simple and user friendly

Very simple and user friendly. I love that it has pre-drilled holes so you can easily attach it to anything. Two problems: it can be difficult to remove the cable once you have one installed as the clip sits very close to the wall. The power supply for it is quite large, 3-4 sockets are needed on the surge protector. Besides, it worked well for us!

Pros
  • Well built
Cons
  • Not bad

Simply works best in Computers & Accessories

Works great. My office has UK ethernet, but I have an old Cisco phone (7900 series) that is ethernet powered, so that should come first. The problem is that it only goes through 100 Mbit/s. With a small 5-port Trendnet switch, my desktop and laptop have gigabit and the phone still works.

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons
  • The list will be long.
