Complete garbage: blinds and curtains

complete garbage. I install them with one layer. No matter what I do with it, it always hangs to the left, I'll take a picture. Just absolutely cheap crap, not worth $40. By the way, it's not so easy to saw off pieces of it.

Pros
  • fingers crossed
Cons
  • too stupid

Keeps coming off! on Blinds & Shades

So easy to cut and install, very dark and keeps rooms cool. To update. a bit screwed up, they start to "peel", even started peeling off some of the paint on me :( don't know how to fix that without buying the ones with mounting brackets or putting more tape on :( even with more tape they fall off so disappointed

  • Enjoyable

Poor quality good for window treatment

When I opened the packaging and opened the lampshade I found many worn spots (which almost looked like holes) that let light through (see picture). should be a light-blocking shade. Even after I lengthened the curtain, it refused to stay taut even under the weight of the bottom rod. I'm returning it before I've even tried trimming or installing it.

Pros
  • Very good quality
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Works better than expected.

Well made, high quality, works well, glue works well. Here are some tips I wish I had known beforehand. Make sure your knife is really sharp. When you start cutting, do not remove the knife from the plastic guide until you have cut all the way through. When cutting, don't press too hard with your non-cutting hand (the hand you use to hold the lampshade), or you'll break the top and bottom plastic rails. In addition, the directions are not clear. But the lampshade has a specific front and back…

Won't stay in place and curtains scrape off

First of all they are very thin paper blinds, luckily I didn't have to cut mine, they fitted the window hole snugly which was good but if not widened and all the weight is on the top of the blinds they don't hold so I opened them all the way until the heavy part of the blinds was resting on the bottom sill and they will stay that way until you do. Don't touch them and don't try to open or close them, they looked pretty decent when the bathroom light was on, but when the sun shines through the…

Waste of money

Okay so I bought them because they turned out to be better quality than some of the cheap paper blinds. Unfortunately I was wrong. I ordered them back in June but haven't put them up to this day for various reasons. I followed the guide, which is pretty flimsy and doesn't have a lot of illustrations. It means using a plastic cut guard, aligning to desired width after measuring the window, then trimming with a sharp kitchen knife. This is similar to previous blinds that I have ordered and have…

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Hard to say

I bought these exact shades over 4 years ago and they perfectly match what I needed them for (kids room). They kept the rooms fairly dark, although not completely blacked out. There is a little light coming through the sides (depending on how close you fit the shade to the window, and small drops of light go through the tiny holes where the cord goes through the shade (allowing the shade to move up and down). BUT overall they are very comfortable sunglasses and they do a pretty good job, half…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Infinitely slow

These are cheap and quick ways to dress up window curtains. If you want stunningly beautiful window decorations, this isn't it. You look good, but that's about it. They block the light completely. How close you cut them to the side window jambs and how tightly you tape the hat to the window on the jamb will reduce the amount of light that "sneaks" into the sides. Some light will happen. I've seen talk of cutting them to size with a kitchen knife, I found it very difficult and left bad/jagged…
