Best for Toyota in Towbar Accessories

Fits Toyota trucks but with plenty of room. A tight fit that I don't hear any rattling. I put two rubber washers on the shaft so it doesn't "knock" when you slide it from left to right. but he didn't slide enough.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Upgrades available

Tacoma 2016 is coming! Tow bar accessory

Just arrived. Installed it on my 2016 Tacoma with the tow pack and it fits. My wife bought another brand for Christmas and it was too short for taco. I've read that the Tacoma hitch receiver doesn't fit in some locks, this one works!

Pros
  • All right!
Cons
  • Useless functions

Best for wide hitches in External Accessories

Fits my 2015 Toyota Tundra hitch with replacement. This is a high quality lock. It took me a few tries to get the lock off the first time I opened it, but that's not a big deal as all the hardware is tight and not hanging around.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Can't remember

This receiver lock looks like good quality

Fits in the clutch pocket for my 2015 Toyota Tacoma as advertised. The receiver for my 2015 is slightly wider than my 2004 Toyota Tacoma receiver and my old receiver lock was about 1/8 inch too short. This receiver lock looks to be of good quality, only time and use will tell for sure.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Good castle but rusts.

The receiver lock fits and protects my expensive BW chrome hitch, but is the hitch bolt locking tab already rusting where it makes contact with the receiver (in just a few weeks of use)? Is my hitch ball all chrome plated with no signs of rust? I was hoping to have a nice chrome pin lock on the receiver that wouldn't rust.

Pros
  • Enjoy
Cons
  • Out of fashion

perfect for my tacoma

this fits my 2006 tacoma while the other trimex does not. By the way, I really think these are the most beautiful locks and the key is easy to use. It has a dust cap and looks like it will stand the test of time. After installing this lock there was a small gap on either side so I went to the hardware store and bought a rubber plug. I went home, cut the rubber plug in half and drilled 5/8" holes on each side. I trimmed everything I needed to ensure a tight fit and now it's perfect! Trimax makes
