Trimax TCL75 Deluxe Universal Wheel Chock Lock - High Security Anti-Theft Device in Yellow/Red Review

The lock cylinder was stuck on my cargo trailer after installation. I was on my property a few hours drive from a tool store so I decided to cut it down with the saw I had and a wood blade. WOODEN BLADE! It cuts straight through with little effort. This is not a serious security device. I'm just contacting the company.

I ordered a TCL65 that worked but barely fit. So I ordered the TCL75 and it is much easier to mount on the bus. My truck was stolen once and was recently attempted. Both times the door lock was broken and the ignition failed, so the perfect visual deterrent. It's in front of my house on a busy street, so it's unlikely someone will try to cut it off with a power tool.

I bought two of these from Revain and fitted them to one side of my 2 axle trailer. Last week the trailer (and my new tractor) was stolen. As for Trimax, it looks like the thief used a saw to partially cut off an arm and then bent the arm back. I would add pictures, but there's no point in giving directions to the villains. I'm sure it took a while to figure out two of them, but that certainly didn't stop them.

The device looks good and is heavy. The locking device has a unique look and provides the user with three keys. If this device is ALMOST as durable as the clam shell package it comes in, then I know I can rest my head at night without worrying about someone "tricking" it. A great padlock with a big flaw. Firstly when I received it I was just blown away by how massive and strong it is. Very well done. Worth buying this XL as it blocks the wheel and frame of a small trailer. Here's the downside, the castle itself is terrible. Perfect fit for 16" Grand Design Reflection fifth wheel. If you have a fifth wheel choose the larger size TCL75. Be smarter than I was when I bought this lock (or any claw wheel lock). Unless the claws actually go through the spokes or other holes in the rim, they're practically useless. Think about this scenario. You have a claw lock, you lost your keys, there's a situation where you need to move the vehicle immediately (if you get close to a fire, whatever) and you don't care about damage. At the same time, the build quality is reliable. It is made from heavy duty steel and is powder coated with rubber tips to protect the rim from scratches.
