easy on and off, lasts all day

A roller derby friend told me about them, I bought them for snowboarding. You are the bomb! easy to take on and off, stays in place all day, has saved my knee from some really hard knocks on freezing days, and they keep my aging knee warm so it doesn't hurt. and an added bonus.

Failed after one ride

I used these knee pads once. A short drive of 10 miles. They were incredibly uncomfortable because the straps to secure them kept twisting. The knee pads didn't stay in place and continued to fall as a result. I tried to pull them out and the page broke out of them. That was about half of my trip. The other half I prayed not to fall because if I did my knee would be destroyed because the side was blasted. Please make it more durable.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Good but not great

Protective gear Disappointment

Ordered 2 pairs of Triple 8 knee pads I was hoping one of the two would work for me. negative for both. These are poorly adjusted. They don't work for people with large shins (just above the kneecap). I couldn't raise the pads above the kneecap. They were more like shin guards. They don't provide adequate impact protection in the event of a fall, but they should protect you from abrasions. Very dissatisfied, the product did not fit me. I will look at 187 because according to their size chart…

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Slim design, enough protection for medium speeds and less ground impact.

I like to wear them under my jeans when I ride the Onewheel. They fit well so pay attention to the size as there aren't too many of them. I average 10-15mph and they seem thick enough to provide the protection needed to absorb the impact from falls and avoid some scratches. I'm not sure yet how well they handle heavier hits like bad landings after jumps and higher flying stunts on heavy EMVs. It's great not having to ride with a bunch of bulky gear.

Pros
  • The best in their niche
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Very comfortable, takes some getting used to

Definitely nice to wear under pants, the size corresponds to the table. They help absorb the impact but I've had about 5 sessions with them now and if you're looking for something that offers full protection this isn't for you, if you land hard enough you'll still get most of the feel the impact. It's definitely for more moderate falls, but they're really comfortable and don't slow you down at all. If you're a park rider like me I wouldn't recommend riding big ramps with them alone, but regular

They make great softball knee pads!

, I'm 5'11, 160lbs and the little one fits me perfectly. I've been trying to find softball knee pads to keep my knees from kicking when I'm sliding down bases or jumping for volleys. All of the rubbers I've tried that are made specifically for softball either didn't offer the protection I needed or just didn't stay in place when sliding. So I decided to look for other options. I tried a few: Fox Head Launch Enduro Knee Pads, Brute Torq Wrestling Knee Pads, Corflex Front Pad Knee Pads, Troy Lee…
