GREAT FOR SNOWBOARDING!

I thought I didn't need knee pads (and knee pads in general) at On the first day in Mammut I had a really bad fall and it kind of ruined my whole trip. I love these knee pads because they protect your knees but are comfortable and very unobtrusive. No one but you will know you're wearing insoles if you fall and you're perfectly fine. I highly recommend these pads!

Pros
  • good stuff
Cons
  • no instructions

They feel great even when you hit the ground.

These elbow pads work great. BUT. After the first use I got hives and had a rash for about 3 weeks. I didn't wash them right away because, man. I wanted to go to pieces. I was pleased. I hand washed them and still use them. My allergic reaction went away after a few weeks. A rash is better than a broken elbow, folks. GO GARBAGE.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Crumpled Packaging

Delivered quickly and with pleasure!

I am happy about all the reviews and I am happy about them! They are made of medium density material and will definitely stay in place. I have tried many elbow pads on my mountain bike over the years as I have a small frame and tiny elbow structure due to elbow injuries which are my weakness. I have not been happy with the find over the years. They come in handy for the protection and coverage they seem to give!

Pros
  • A good product for its price
Cons
  • Exchange option

Low expectations but WOW!

I bought these for my new OneWheel and needed something that was easy to put on and take off to protect me from road accidents. Being primarily foam and fabric, expectations for durability were low. I thought I bought some of the hype but these pads are legit. Super comfortable and yet incredibly durable. Obviously a lot of attention has been paid to the design and construction, I think they're not the cheapest, having put them on I can't complain at all for the price, their value makes theโ€ฆ

Not sure if this is an accident but not persistent at all.

Well I'm not sure if I just got a bad pair or what but these pads won't fall off if they won't even stand up to wear. I've used these pads 3 times cruising around my area on a motorized mountain board and they've already fallen apart. As you can see from the attached picture the stitching came undone and I never fell on these pads. They're big enough to fit comfortably in my hands, so that's not a problem. As far as I can see the stitching is not very strong. Very comfortable and I've been aโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • I'm having issues

Your ego will skyrocket; but your use can't.

So, some physical context for reference; I'm 6ft 1in, 245lbs, mid 50's, don't exercise or have muscle (doesn't flex biceps 14" and forearm 13"); just an average kind of joe. My wife is great (she was right next to me) ;) 5ft 6in, 140lbs is fine but not great for training either. Okay, let's get to the quick details. This product sucks and the size is for kids! Did. . . . . . . . . . Seriously, the nylon/stretch/viscose (whatever) material that sits on the inside of the elbow is comfortable butโ€ฆ

Saved me several times Glad I bought it

I have both a knee and an elbow. This rating applies to both. BOTTOM LINE - A little crowded and a little hot in warm weather but stay put and saved me many times. I'm so glad I bought them and will buy them again. SIZE - First. You may want to increase the size. I'm tall and slim (5ft 11ft, skinny arms and legs). I'm almost always comfortable carrying a cure for such things. I bought the medium and they are tight. Very tight! They are so tight I almost sent them back. In the end I decided toโ€ฆ
