We bought this for our TV on wheels. I didn't want to put the TV on the counter and take up that space. So we bought this and now we can watch TV while sitting in the living room and then move it around when we go to bed to continue watching. Plus, when we're not watching TV, we can just clip it to the wall and it won't get in the way. Love love love it!

I was building a media center for a contractor friend of mine and we needed a TV arm for a very unusual situation. The TV was a 42 inch LED that had to come out of the cabinet and rotate almost 90º so the equipment had to be sturdy without being bulky. This mount met specs and worked right out of the box. that's the size and I'll keep that in mind for future projects.

I really liked this mount although I haven't actually had a chance to use it and unfortunately had to return it - because it's here not fit. what Dell intended for mounting (cutout on the back). I suspect this is more of a Dell issue as most other mounts are a similar size to the Tripp Lite, but I still couldn't use it with my Dell P4317Q. I think it will fit most monitors and should prove reliable and durable. Although it literally didn't fit my application.

I recommend this product as it is well designed and made. All parts needed for hanging are included (such as mounting hardware, wire holders and a template). Metal and painting are carried out with the utmost care. The pivot pins/bolts use nylon insert locknuts. This way the moving parts don't fall apart during use. I loosened them to make it easier to move and set up the TV. I believe it will work with TVs up to 42", so make sure it will fit your TV before purchasing. As such this is a quality

DO NOT BUY if you expect your TV to be level in both the folded and unfolded positions. A shoulder (firm) slightly crooked welded. If you level the TV in the closed position and then open the bracket fully and rotate the TV 90°, the TV will tilt. The more you stretch out your hand, the clearer the discrepancy becomes. Sturdy construction.1) The included screws are three inches long and would be much easier to install if they had screw heads that could be tightened with a ratchet mechanism. Driving three-inch screws with a screwdriver is too much work and beyond the breaking point for this 60-year-old man. 2) The instructions provided state that a 2" pilot hole must be drilled for these screws. This does not mean that this product is not suitable. I had no way of knowing this until I got it and placed on the back of the monitor that the VESA mount is VERY large - to support displays up to 42" I think. Problem when used on small computer monitor type displays, most have connectors on the back of the monitor (not on the bottom edge like most LED TVs).
