When we opened the boxes, we found that the zipped bag containing the parts inside was completely ripped off the bottom and the screws inside the box were loose. The assembly instructions consist of a sketch in German and English. For me this led to trial and error on how to assemble the scratching post. It looks better than what I could build myself. I had such high hopes for this scratching post despite some of the reviews being negative and many others being positive so I went with it. The biggest mistake! The design is actually quite nice, but that's where it ends.
