🚪 TRIXIE Pet Barrier with Convenient Walk-Thru Pet Door for Dogs Review

It turned out not to be as strong as I thought it would be. Not sure if this would work better on wooden floors (we have carpet). We have a small dog, 18 pounds, and sometimes it seems to me that if I give him a hard push he will fall. We leaned parts of it against stronger objects and between chairs to keep it upright. The gate does not close as well as we would like. Our puppy could touch it with his paw until it opened by itself.

It was very easy to install - it arrived assembled so all that was required was positioning it and inserting two spacers into the slots to allow it stood. It's on the higher side and it looks good. The swing door feature is good because we can get through without stepping over it. The barrier seems a little thin. We bought this for our pup so it works well but a larger dog will likely be able to push it away.

Product arrived late and the door dowels need to be glued and reinstalled. I have a non-standard shaped apartment and I can't attach the gate with suction cups. I needed a gate that would not fall (these gates have legs that come with the kit and are easy to attach). I was able to sit up easily and the bars are close enough for my pup not to squeeze through.
