Not suitable for taller players

I'm about 6'1" and ordered a large one. Definitely not long enough, but they worked for me in a pinch. I didn't choose size XL because I don't need a wide waist. (I am 34 years old).

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Volume

Good pants, a little big

I bought the size XL, I have a 38 inch waist, they are too big for me. Both straps are tight, they seem to hold up well, but I suppose I could go to a size L and be happy

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Update available

For those who don't exert themselves while playing

You break the first time you fall, jump or any other powerful roller hockey game. If you're a gamer who stands around and doesn't try very hard, or an older person in a slow league, this is for you, otherwise don't waste your money.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Not sure

Garbage. Do not buy.

Received exactly a month ago and used 3 times to play hockey. They have been machine washed and line dried. No major incidents playing hockey that caused these pants to unravel at the same seams on both sides. The last hockey pants lasted 4 years. That is trash. Absolute rubbish.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Doubtful

Not bad but could be better

Overall pretty good hockey pants. They look good and true to size. I play once a week and there are no holes in it yet. The only thing that happened was that "Armourguards 1680 Denier Ballistic Dual Layer Elbow" peeled off on the inside. I have no idea why this is happening and the small flakes end up on my knee under my pads.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons

Comfortable but not durable

I ordered these pants after my Mission hockey pants finally had enough holes and tears after 4 years of twice weekly use. They're really light and comfortable and I enjoyed the first 8 games or so. However, at my game last Thursday, they diverged in the inseam by about a foot just around the knee (see photo). After my game the following Sunday, a smaller tear started in the same place on the other leg. Unfortunately they lasted long enough to pass the refund deadline but be aware they may not…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Fairly thin, best in sports

I use these for my hockey league. They fit well with my gear (thighs and knees/shins). But the main criticism I have of them, and that was one of the things that was hard to find when reading reviews, is how flimsy they are. While that makes them light and breathable, it means they're prone to tearing/burning if you take a shed. I had holes in each knee after first use and have not fallen on them 30 times. Now this is easy to fix by using my hockey stick and sealing the holes with some coats…

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Incredible piggy bank
