Wow what a difference to my Bell

I have worn a regular Bell helmet for many years. I always cook in this thing since living in Florida. I was afraid that the cooling vents on that Troy Lee helmet must have been a promotional ploy, a ploy. Boy was I wrong. I really felt the wind blowing through the helmet onto my head. Doesn't matter! It's an expensive helmet, but you only have one brain and you should be able to use it for years.

Perfect helmet: bike

Bought this helmet for my new MTB I have. It comes with a cooler bag which was unexpected. The helmet fits perfectly. I had to figure out the perfect setup, but once I got it, it was flawless. I finally took it out to test it, it's workout, very comfortable and seems to protect every aspect of my head. It even allowed me to wear sunglasses with a helmet without discomfort. Highly recommended brand and helmet.

Nice helmet, you pay for the TLD name.

Great helmet, looks great, keeps you cool when riding in the summer heat. The bad side of this helmet is the cheap padding liner. It literally fell apart and split to the point where I had to ask TLD to send me a new one. For the price of this helmet they should come with a pair of liners. It is absolutely rare that this is not the case. Everything else is fine, but as far as I know any MIPS helmet that looks just as good can be bought for a lot less.

Not the most comfortable to ride on a bike

The helmet looks good and I love that it's a MIPS helmet but I have a hard time understanding how they arrived at this rating is. There are velcro straps that keep the pads in place on your head. The pads on the Velcro itself stick out enough that I can feel them on my head. Even if I tap the helmet on my head, the Velcro puts pressure on the veins and nerves in my head. The size and style of the helmet are perfect, but it's not comfortable at all. It can save your life in a head-on collision…

The best I've ever had!

I don't normally write reviews for the Revain but wanted to say how much I love this helmet. I've never had one that went out of the box without adding padding or other adjustments - NOT THAT! it was perfect and the only adjustment was in the chin strap. Haven't used it much yet but so far I've put it on and tightened it a few clicks off the rear wheel and it fits like a glove. It's lightweight with lots of ventilation holes. I'm sure the packaging will wear out over time and may need to be…

TLD has the best helmet ever

This helmet is perfect and I can't think of any way to improve it. I bought this helmet to replace a Bern Brentwood helmet which was reliably giving me a crushing headache after 15 minutes of riding. This helmet has never given me a headache, even after 3-4 hours of use. This is by far the most comfortable helmet I have ever used. Airflow is exceptional, which is crucial in humid 100 degree weather. It's so light I sometimes forget I'm wearing a helmet. The adjustable visor is great and does a…

Looks great, sits great.

My head size is right on the border between sizes and I chose the smaller version and it fits perfectly. The retention system has multiple tension adjustment slots in addition to the dial so you can really dial it in to perfection. A few little things are true - the visor is difficult to adjust. The screw in the center is under the visor itself and cannot be grasped. Someone at the factory must have thought it was fun twisting it all the way out because it's impossible to twist by hand. I had…
