Comfortable and great protection

I wear them for mountain biking and unicycling and now I know that leaning over the bar or slipping on the board won't seriously hurt me.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Unreliable

Good product for trail riders

Was hesitant to buy at first, but when you get into "fancy" places like rocks, tree roots, etc, you should buy this. I went with him and didn't notice any discomfort or jamming. The weight does not matter either and the product is highly recommended.

Great shorts for MTB!

I'm 5ft 11in / 215lbs and the big ones fit me! highly recommend (or even the 5605, which I was also considering); excellent fit and finish. After machine washing and air drying, they still look new with no signs of unusual wear.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast

Surprisingly comfortable

They are very comfortable - not tight or bulky at all. The crotch padding is perfect, better than any other cycling shorts I've had. The trouser leg ends are quite loose, but not disturbing. I think they could wrap the thigh pads a bit, but they offer decent protection. Something that offers more would undoubtedly be less convenient, and the manufacturer has to draw the line somewhere.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Some bugs

but I believe it offers decent protection for the hips

Haven't crashed with them yet but was surprised at how well they fit under my regular cycling shorts. Not too hot, not too bulky but I feel it offers adequate protection for the hips, thighs and tailbone. Edit: I've plunged into them now, but still think they're great. Slid onto a ledge and slid a good 5 feet on my hip/side. They did a great job, my day would probably be over if I hadn't worn them. The shape of the pads left me with weird bruises, but I'm sure it would have been worse withoutโ€ฆ

The perfect safety shorts

They are a great addition to my everyday outfit. If you want extra protection without the added weight, the 7605 is a solid choice. When I put them on I can't tell any difference in comfort and warmth compared to a pair of unlined pads. I prefer them to the TD 5605 because of the tailbone protection, which is a key place for padding. Other reviews have mentioned that the suede seat cushion is a bit flimsy, but I think it's perfect - offers padding but doesn't feel like a pair of diapers. Theyโ€ฆ

As expected, highly recommended!

Run 100 miles off road this weekend in these shorts under jodhpurs. Fits just like you would expect from regular everyday underwear and is incredibly comfortable. (Yes, I recommend wearing underwear if you plan to ride at the weekend and only have one pair of these shoes.) I didn't fall, so I can't comment on the hip protection on offer, but overall the construction and materials suggest it will perform decently. . protecting your bones. As with all body armor/protective gear, extra heat andโ€ฆ
