Inexpensive cartridge that lasts a while.

Many of these inexpensive cartridges hardly work out of the box. Not bad and it seems he can hold out for a while and seal relegation.

Bells and whistles - good value for money

Bells and whistles simple nozzle for inflating car and bicycle tires. Works exactly as advertised. Shown here is the connection to the ColorConnex Adapter and Connector Kit (7 pieces), Industrial Type D, 1/4" NPT, Red - A73457D, with Campbell Hausfeld 25ft 3/8" ID Blue PVC Air Hose (PA117701AV).

Pros
  • Something special
Cons
  • Only available in black

A simple cartridge that works

Fits my bike's valves and is easy to use. Deflates the tire instantly when pressed and doesn't appear to lose air when the stem is removed. Mine looks a little different than the picture on the order page, has a hex nut for the front bracket, no screwdriver slot. Doesn't seem to matter anyway.

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • Infinitely slow

Bad design makes it useless.

See the attached photo. The top cartridge is a Tru-Flate cartridge. The bottom cartridge is a cheaper cartridge I've had for decades. Note the triangular structure in the lower cartridge. This will keep the roll pin centered so it can push in the tire valve pin. Because the Tru-Flate chuck lacks this centering structure, the chuck pin floats freely in the chuck and is extremely difficult to get it to press against the tire valve pin. If you cannot push the tire valve pin, you cannot inflate the

Reliable cartridge at a good price.

I bought a small compressor with a tank. The compressor was excellent quality but the hose and cartridge that came with it were cheap. The cartridge that came with it didn't fit the tires very well and the small valve inside sometimes didn't seat all the way so there was a lot of leakage, both from the valve stem and from the cartridge itself. This one is durable and doesn't leak. It fits very well on the tire's valve stem and the leak is almost completely gone. With the exception of one…

  • Expensive insurance

Either it works or it doesn't work... and it doesn't work.

I needed a lockable chuck and this one locked but wouldn't turn off. As long as there is pressure in the cartridge, it will flow until the pressure is gone. It wasn't a small leak, and it was more like there hadn't even been a blackout. I went cheap and for a few bucks it's not worth returning and I may someday be able to use it on a line that has a trigger to shut off the air before it hits the cartridge. It was almost impossible to get some air into my car's tires, so since it won't shut off,

Quality Air Chuck!: Air Conditioning Tools & Equipment

If you're worried about quality, don't worry, this is truly a quality Air Chuck. All brass construction, very well made and great price! It fits perfectly with all tire valves I've used and works very well. No air leakage and easy to seal on your tire valve. Just use the brass quick release valve and you're done. It just works! I've bought a few different brands and in my opinion the best air liner is made by Coilhose Pneumatics, this is: Coilhose Pneumatics CH10 Closed Ball Liner and Clamp…
