Fails to Deliver Accurate Readings

This product was a huge disappointment. As an automotive enthusiast i was eagerly looking forward to installing this coolant temperature sender in my engine, but it failed to deliver accurate readings. I ended up wasting my time and money on this useless piece of equipment. The only positive aspect of this product is its affordable price..

Two stars for four months of work.

This switch has only been in service for a few months. As summer came, I noticed my temperature was getting quite high, then the fan finally turned on. Then, for the next week or so, every time I stopped at a stop light or in a traffic jam, the coolant temp would get really high, almost overheating! Scared me to death. It took a bit of troubleshooting, but this piece of junk stopped working. This would barely provide enough continuity that my fan switch relay would go fast but would never trip…
