Good weight. Feels durable. Good looking. Easy to stow away. And best of all: it pulls out the plug almost effortlessly.

I've been using corkscrews like this for years but I have to say this one works smoother and easier than any of my previous ones. It's too early to say if this will continue, but so far so good.

It was recommended by Cooks Illustrated and lived up to the hype. Once I figured out how to use it, it worked flawlessly and looked very solid. I no longer had broken glass on the neck of the bottle like my cheaper lever corkscrews.

I think this is one of the best corkscrews you can get. The only problem I have is that on the last pull, the part of the lever that presses on the neck of the bottle can squeeze the glass a bit. Plus, it works better than any other manual corkscrew I've used.

This tool is poorly designed and extremely dangerous. I used a similar Trudeau double lever last July and due to the dangerous design, the tool snapped the top of the bottle resulting in a break that required 18 clamps. The problem is that they put the bottle opener inside the tool (rather than outside like some other manufacturers).
