Wide toe! good for me

They have the widest toe box of any shoe I can find in the US market, larger than the Vivobarefoot or Xero and are the only shoes I'm comfortable wearing. It's huge! On the other hand, the sole and upper separate quickly, so buy some kind of shoe glue.

Pros
  • Improves circulation and minimizes leg and foot fatigue.
Cons
  • May not be suitable for those with certain foot conditions

Great sandal for the price

loves these shoes. Every pair I've had has come apart where the rubber meets the upper on the right foot every few months.

Pros
  • Provides long-lasting performance
Cons
  • May not be suitable for those with toe deformity

Convenience and price, but with a small sacrifice?

TSLA is a decent shoe for less than the Merrell Vapor Glove; However, I'm not sure if it will be that long-lasting. The size is smaller than the standard size, at least half the size. The upper feels a bit cheap and may lack the durability that a true trail running shoe might need. The eyelets for the laces are too big and the laces are big compared to Merrell. Overall, they're comfortable and inexpensive, but I just don't think they'll hold up well. I only use them for everyday use at the…

Pros
  • Helps increase foot and ankle flexibility
Cons
  • Size may not match.

Inexpensive barefoot variant

A cheap option compared to other barefoot or zero drop shoes. While the tread material doesn't seem to be the highest quality compared to others (Merrell Vapor Gloves in particular), for the utility user they outperform their weight class and deliver what they promise.

Pros
  • Provides a more efficient and natural stride
Cons
  • May not provide enough cushioning for high-impact activities

Feel like a Merrell 3 steam mitt

I loved the 3 steam gloves and wish Merrell would return them. These shoes are almost as close as I've ever found for a fraction of the price. They aren't that well built and some parts look/feel pretty cheap. But the bottom feel and fit is very similar to the Vapor Glove 3. I wish they were in more regular/normal designs and colors.

Pros
  • Ideal for running, walking, hiking and other outdoor activities
Cons
  • May not be suitable for people with flat feet

Comfortable but poor quality

I may have come across a defective pair, but the first time I wore them the sole started to separate from the shoe. I bought these for a fall trip to BWCAW with the idea that in 35 degree weather they could get wet and dry quickly. There they were not disappointed. But on the first day, after taking just two short puffs, they began to disperse. I bought these because I didn't want to spend $80-$100 on vapor gloves, but I think you get what you pay for.

Pros
  • Suitable for people with various foot conditions such as plantar fasciitis, flat feet and bursitis.
Cons
  • May not be suitable for high-intensity workouts

Sizes you should choose smaller

Size said to go up one size. I wear 11.5 in regular shoes but actually you need to go down a size. I should have gotten a regular 11 instead of a 12, everything else works great and the shoes were great

Pros
  • Prevents tired and stressed legs
Cons
  • Can be difficult to put on and take off

Great replacement for my Merrells.

I got my first pair of these many years ago when they were on another list. I've had trail gloves (IDK what gen) and 3rd and 4th gen Vapor gloves which obviously mimic the Vapor 3. My Tesla pair has lasted for my fitness and running shoes since 2018. They were mainly used indoors and run on trails, but that's one heck of a long lifespan. None of my Merrells have lasted that long despite being used daily. After my last pair of these workouts, I tried the latest trail gloves and found the arch…

Pros
  • Offers a light and natural feel
Cons
  • May not be suitable for people with heel spurs

Too much feedback from me

Oversized by half a size. My husband is a size 10 and had to go back and order a 9 1/2. Size 9 1/2 fits perfectly. However, they don't stick well. The sneakers are already torn and he only wore them 3 times.

Pros
  • Retains shape and shape after frequent use
Cons
  • Can be uncomfortable for people with wide toes

Easy on feet, eyes and finances

Comfortable as slippers, these shoes are lightweight and offer only moral support to the feet. Perfect for leg exercises or anytime you want your feet to be less polluting, not barefoot.

Pros
  • As the name suggests, like the Merrell Vapor Glove for 1/3 the price. The size is 1/2 smaller.
Cons
  • What a waste. I've worn them maybe 5 times and they're falling apart.

The price is right - my new review

As a sandal entry-level shoe, the price is perfect. Although they weren't wide enough for me, they served me well as a transitional shoe. It's not the prettiest shoe but it suits my hiking needs.

Pros
  • Wicks away sweat and moisture to keep feet dry.
Cons
  • May not be suitable for those with foot injuries

So far so good: my review

I've never had such a minimalist shoe. So far they have met my expectations. Won't be running in it anytime soon...had a knee injury. They fit as expected. And they look cool!

Pros
  • Ideal for summer walks.
Cons
  • The smell was so awful I had to throw them away.

Great minimalist shoe

Overall these are great shoes. I ran in the Brooks Ghosts 14 and they were very comfortable but the way they are designed with a high heel made me hit my heel hard while running. I was starting to develop Achilles tendinitis, so several people recommended I try zero-fall shoes. I bought them without paying attention to people's recommendations. I just typed "zero boot" in the search box and this came up. I figured it wouldn't be too hard to try them because they're only $40. I wasn't expecting…

Pros
  • Provides natural foot flexion
Cons
  • May not be wide enough for people with wide feet

Great shoes though. good for me

The shoes themselves are great. Unfortunately I put them on for the first time and after 20 minutes the sole of the right boot started to separate from the boot as you can see. I really like these shoes and would like a replacement. We'll see how the customer service goes and I'll update my review once I fix this issue.

Pros
  • Available in different sizes and colors
Cons
  • May not be suitable for those with severe pronation.

More than average.

I was hoping for cheaper Merrell shoes but the sizes don't compare. Comfort and fit are poor. Don't let this be your first encounter with minimalist shoes.

Pros
  • Helps to improve the foot's natural alignment
Cons
  • May not be strong enough for frequent use

These really are sandals.

Super comfortable but offer literally no support. However, they are very comfortable and fit as expected. The finger box is nice and wide and they weigh next to nothing. One of the "features" is that you can feel every crack, bump, rock, stick, etc. that you step on. This is a feature, not a bug, but should be considered when choosing such shoes.

Pros
  • Fits like a glove and offers a good fit
Cons
  • May not be suitable for people with narrow feet

sole lost! to my rating.

These are extremely comfortable shoes and I have several pairs and colors. The old ones were great, but the last two pairs I bought (the blue camouflage pattern and the black ones) started falling off the soles on the first day of wearing. Might be a quality control issue with the rubber outsole material as barge glue can usually fix this issue which I used to reattach the bottoms and it only took a day or two. Perhaps this is a separate topic, but you definitely bet on these shoes.

Pros
  • Complements a variety of outfits and styles
Cons
  • May be uncomfortable for people with narrow toes

My road running show.

I ride about 30 miles a week on the road in them. First I ordered size 11 but it turned out they are half a size too big. Although I still wear the 11 for most of my runs. I wear 10.5 to work. It's more than a good deal and if you're wearing minimal shoes, that's great.

Pros
  • Requires no break-in period
Cons
  • May not be true to size

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Please make larger sizes for other colors!

Larger sizes (10+) or available in black only. Make more and I will buy more. They're good, but I want to walk a hot Arizona street in something other than black.

Pros
  • Reduces the risk of foot, ankle and calf injuries
Cons
  • May not be suitable for those with a split leg

Very important! - my new rating

A great way to stock up on your wardrobe without breaking the bank and screaming cheap shoes. If you're not used to barefoot support (i.e. no support), the difference can be quite frustrating.

Pros
  • Provides comfort and freedom from pain
Cons
  • Some buyers might not like the minimalist design.
