My 75 pound English Setter is a squirrel hunter and pulls quite hard when walking. I use it daily on his walks/jogs and it's holding up very well. It's heavy and bulky so not for small dogs and I would argue that given its size this is not a 'normal' permanent collar replacement.

I have a 3 year old pug but he is so strong that I have to buy heavy collars or no pulling harnesses so I ordered this tactical collar. I like the thickness and the metal clip but unfortunately the small size was 1 inch too big. So I have to go back. Otherwise I would use it for my pug.

I have a mammoth necked mastiff and this collar fits great, looks great and is very well made. The American flag patch is a cool addition too. Would order again no problem. I could well imagine that this collar would last for years. The lock works well, I'm sure it will hold my 150lb boy with no problem.

I am very impressed with this collar. my german shepherd broke every other buckle collar, no matter if it was made of metal or not. Although the buckle is not a Cobra buckle, it is very strong. It won't fall apart unless you hold both wings down so it doesn't wobble when one wing is squeezed at the buckle. Overall I would recommend this collar.

Great Strong Collar - Buckle, D-ring and webbing are quite strong - definitely expect it to hold up where my dog's other collars have failed due to fatigue, cold or poor materials/construction. As long as it's not freezing for winter use, it's not clogged with snow, it's easy to manipulate the buckle with gloves/mittens on. Minor gripes - I'd like a separate little loop for tags, and I'd say a gasket. inside isn't unnecessary which definitely makes it harder to attach things like a clip to a…
