Highly recommended! Great quality ink!

This ink is ideal for transparent silicone stamps! I recommend this ink over others for crisp, clear stamps. Rubber seems less finicky and can work with many inks, but silicone needs something "stickier" and this ink does the trick. Compared to large ink pads, the Excel Versafine is the clear winner. My only wish is that the pad is a little bigger or the product is a little cheaper, but it's still great.

Worth adding to your collection!

I took an online class with Jen Shurkus and she recommended this ink to me (she said she has a problem with stray black embossing powder so she uses it and writes in to emboss clear powder on it). I already know. I love VersaMark inks so I decided to buy them when I saw that they were made specifically for fine line stamping. I'm so glad I did! Note: They appear to have a newer ink case design, but my ink arrived very juicy and sealed, so I'm fine!

  • Still like everyone

So glad I did this at Scrapbooking & Stamping

. I saw a video about this ink and decided to try it. I'm so glad I did. I agree with everyone else in what they have said. I would like to add that this ink produces a nice BLACK (blacker than most inks) image and has good even coverage if you're into silhouette stamps. I wasn't able to get good coverage with the Silhouette stamp using the Momento Tuxcedo Black ink, but it helps. There is also a nice clear stamp image of a detailed stamp. For stamp coloring I stick to my Momento. I've included

If you are expecting a flip cap you may not get

I know this is a very good ink. I had a small cube and decided it was time to get a full sized notebook. These inks produce crisp, clear images. I really like ink pads that have tabs that stay attached. I guess they just update it to match other ink pads like Momento and StazOn. I don't really care about the Momento ink pad cap. No matter how neat I try to keep the edges around the pad itself, if I accidentally place it label-side up on the table, a sludge of ink will remain on the lid. Sinceโ€ฆ

Slow Drying - misleading description

I ordered this ink pad to use with a calendar stamp to stamp the date on the back of photos. The main reason I bought this notebook was the item's description as 'instant dry' as I didn't want the ink stamp on the back of the photo to smudge the front of the photo when the photos are folded. After stamping about a hundred photos, I noticed that the stamped date was clearly not dry. Then I laid out the photos for over a week, but the embossing is still not dry. I had to dab each date multipleโ€ฆ
