I've always had problems mounting tubeless road tires. It usually takes about an hour or so. Today I mounted the tire in ten minutes by holding the already mounted portion of the tire in place with a bead cutter and using a quick stick to pull the rest of the bead onto the rim sidewall. This product is simple and effective. Highly recommended.

Some road tubeless tires (I see Conti 5000 tl here) can have very narrow beads which are annoyingly difficult to mount even with mounting arms. They actually work, although I couldn't find any instructions on their website (the packaging is long since scrapped, so check out the pictures on Velonews to see how to use them).
