I bought this to dye a white shirt that I loved but didn't want it to be all white. This was very easy to make and the kit contains enough paint for about 4 shirts. I've only finished 1 shirt and have about 3/4 grout left. I'm impressed how little paint was needed. I love my freshly dyed shirt, it turned out amazing! Comes with an instruction booklet.

I've never dyed anything in a tie. But it was pretty easy. I would suggest using about half the color in each bottle to start with as it ended up being much darker than the packaging photos show. You could also do it at another time. I loved the colors that came out when I used most of the bottle and diluted it with water. There is no need to leave it on for many hours to get darker colors if you use it as intended.

It was a pretty decent all-in-one kit with everything you need to dye clothes. The instructions were ok, could have been a bit more specific, but it's not exactly watchmaking. Unfortunately, the colors are very disappointing. I used 100% cotton, I left them for the recommended time plus a little longer. Rinse thoroughly and rinse twice and the water was pretty clear at the time. Once dry the colors have faded quite a bit and I would expect them to fade even more after a few wear/wash cycles. So
