Not worth the money.

Just bought a Tulip hook to try. I don't like it and I'm using my cheap ergonomic hook again. The tulip hook is smaller and less convenient to hold. It's too slippery and the yarn slides off it too easily. The hook is too small and the yarn falls out. The hook tends to slide right into the yarn between the yarns rather than around the yarn.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Out of style

LOVE these hooks

LOVE these hooks. I have hooks from so many different companies and this brand is by far my favorite. They fit perfectly in my hand, light and durable. The thread flies perfectly off the hook. I don't need any other hooks, I just want to use these. I don't experience hand fatigue like other crochet hooks, no issues with thread breaking or loose grip. I LOVE THOSE!

Pros
  • Enjoyable
Cons
  • Legacy Model

Stick with the original Etimo and ditch the Etimo. Rose

The grip is very good and the color is nice (even the metal is pink which cannot be seen in the picture) but that's the only saving grace. Gracefulness. I bought 2 of these (3.5mm, 4mm) to try before I buy the whole set. I'm glad I did because these hooks don't slide smoothly through the yarn like the original Etimos do. Hooks themselves honestly don't work any better than Boye hooks. For the price, the grip and color benefits just aren't worth it. If you are considering a full set of these…

Pros
  • Great overall specs
