Excellent machine

Works great - and fast. I have bought other brands and this is by far one of the best. No jamming, jamming or thread loss. Neither of these machines will work with shaggy or bulky yarns, but will easily handle smooth DK or lighter yarns. A tension weight comes in handy for this, but you have to constantly move it along the length of the i-cord. If you're making a long piece, this can be frustrating as the cord needs to spin freely. If not, you end up in a twisted mess. I crocheted a small…

Works very well

I already had another manufacturer's brand i-cord (purple) and wanted to know if this one had a better design as I plan to make a lot of i-cords. It really is the best tool! • Long delivery time

Thicker yarn doesn't work for me

I have EmbellishKnit (purple, similar to many others here except mine is branded). It works great with yarn up to and including #3 but has issues with #4. I found reviews saying this item would work for #4 so I bought it. And I can't get it to work with this yarn count. First, the tubing is *very slightly* larger - maybe a millimeter - than the tubing on the EmbellishKnit, so that should help a bit (if the tubing is too tight, the line will get stuck). But that's not the case; You have to…

Pros
  • High test results for hold and durability
Cons
  • Not as thick as others
