This is not a flexible boning knife

I don't know what the problem is but this is the fourth knife I have bought and returned that is advertised as a flexible boning knife.

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • makes you angry

Parts and bones of a woman

Looks great on the website but not so pretty up close. The shape of the handles makes it a bit difficult for my wife to hold. The blade is made of high quality material, very sharp and easy to clean thanks to the coating.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Not sure

Great for non-professional casual home use

Overall weight is very light. It's not the best steel, and it's hard to keep a sharp edge. If you intend to use this knife only occasionally at home, it is very aesthetic, but it will not "cut" in a professional kitchen.

Pros
  • Not just useful for its intended purpose
Cons
  • Nothing here

NOT SHARP ENOUGH TO CUT TOMATOES?

Apparently, beauty is just skin. I like the look of the knife. I wanted to buy the complete set. The knife cuts but is not sharp at all. The most dangerous knife is a dull knife. I have about 30 Japanese style knives. Most of them are made in China, but they are hotter. I think I need to spend $500 and buy a real Japanese knife made in Japan.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Weak set

Grocery Knife at Asian Knives

Bought this knife as it was very reasonably priced. Most of my knives are 200-400 so it's easy to cut yourself on them. I bought it to use more when cooking in bulk. Must be kept sharp.

Pros
  • Quality Construction
Cons
  • Write Later

Ideal for occasional home use, not professional

Overall weight is very light. It's not the best steel, and it's hard to keep a sharp edge. If you intend to use this knife only occasionally at home, it is very aesthetic, but it will not "cut" in a professional kitchen.

Pros
  • Same as everything before
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks
