Not the best quality product

Good idea for attaching a composite plank into the plank surface without screws. However, it is very troublesome and time-consuming. poor quality screws; The screw heads are soft and break off too easily.

Makes deck assembly easier

These fasteners and starter clips made my deck assembly easy and look great. These brackets ensure proper spacing and securely fasten the decking to the frame.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Not bad

Great idea but

is easy to assemble. I was stupid enough to use it on a 95 degree day and noticed that the boards tend to open up a bit in the heat due to the plastic softening. Instead I used metal rail mounts and returned them.

Pros
  • Works great for me
Cons
  • Doesn't go with everything

  • cool product

When installing the clip into the first plank, I recommend driving the screw only partially into the joist to allow the next plank to attach the clip. When initially bolted down I had trouble getting the next board into the clamp due to the plastic tipping to one side or the other. The plastic should not reach the bottom of the carrier. After both boards are connected to terminals, go back and tighten the screw until it stops. Use a moderate torque so you don't overtighten the screw through the
