Good set but some tubes have dried up and become unusable

Disappointed that I didn't get to try this set. Violet, Prussian blue and yellow ocher had dried up so much that they could no longer be used. Several other hoses were thick and almost unusable. I am returning this for a refund.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Requires an outlet

Good price, good quality, great colors

Turner Acrylic Gouache is a wonderful product; The 11mm tubes in this set make a world of difference as this acrylic gouache can be diluted 2 to 1 with water unlike Holdbein acrylic gouache which should not be diluted. Colors are vibrant and do not "break" when mixed/diluted.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Frequency

The best budget acrylic gouache!

I love this acrylic gouache! I was new to gouache and decided to try this one because it was more accessible. Since then I haven't stopped doing it. After drying, it becomes matt and does not roll! The only downsides I found were that some of the colors are slightly translucent and I ran out of white very quickly (luckily they sell a large tube of this). I didn't find a single crack and made countless parts just with this set!

Pros
  • Amazing
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Excellent color: Grill and BBQ utensils

I love this acrylic gouache! it goes down smoothly and a little goes a long way. My only complaint is that you only get one purple and a bunch of yellow, green, and blue. But since you have so many colors, you can always make any number of your own mixes using red, blue, and yellow. You get both warm and cool versions of the primary colors, so the sky's the limit. Have fun and try them out! You will not be disappointed!

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Infinitely sluggish

8 tubes are drying out and unusable

I was so glad to get these based on the good reviews but unfortunately EIGHT of the 24 tubes were completely dry. This means that 33% of the paint is NOT SUITABLE, even my favorite Prussian blue is completely dry. COMPLETELY ILLEGAL. It's not a cheap paint. I don't want to go back and risk ordering a new set because the new one will likely have more dry pipes. I just want fresh tubes of dried paint. Such a scam!

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks

That's great. in Grills & Outdoor Cooking

I'm an engraver and draftsman, but during the quarantine I took up painting to try to get out of a depressive art block. I'm far from the best artist, but the basic entry-level kits were of poor quality. Some of my colleagues spoke well of this brand, so I gave it a try. I really like the harmlessness of these paints, they can be applied as evenly or thickly as you like - this is the perfect intermediate step between watercolor and acrylic painting and it allows me to take on the qualities I…

Pros
  • As everyone else is
Cons
  • Appearance

Half Great Half Junk

I was very impressed with the richness and pigmentation of these colors when I first started trying reds. then I came to yellow and blue. They basically dried up and became useless tubes filled with this weird spongy stuff. I wasn't expecting much as they weren't supposed to react (which thankfully hardly reacted on paper without severely rubbing off the dried paint) but decided to try soaking some of my weird spongy poop dyes in water, what to paint lumpy, lumpy puddles, so it was ineffective.
