One of my best investments in vinyl reproduction.

This is a beautifully designed and heavy record weight. I find this weight greatly improves vinyl playback. The sound stage is better, the sound quality is better, the bass is tighter; Great setup and worth the investment. I looked at others in the same class; that's what you get.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • There are problems

Great weight and the Turntable Lab logo comes off.

Great weight and the lab logo on the turntable is easy to remove with nail polish remover or rubbing alcohol. I love the felt base and it was an attractive addition to my Technics SL-D3. Makes a noticeable difference in reducing hiss and busy passages, tightening bass and helping smooth out some distorted recordings. Good mid-range weight. Get one!

Pros
  • Glitter
Cons
  • Amazing Price

Very low profile. Very difficult. Fits my old Pioneer turntable.

This weight is very light and I can close the dust cover on my 1979 Pioneer PL-518x while playing vinyl. It's the best of both worlds. The weight felt a little big at first but I like it now. My "tt" model is a direct drive model, but I still crank it by hand before engaging the turntable to minimize the added weight. In addition, this weight can be used as a weapon. I'm just saying.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • For old

This is a great looking and functional chrome weight. This is the best I could find for the money and far better than the Audio Technica AT618. I tried the AT first and it has a couple of major flaws, the biggest being the outer ring which is all rubber so it flexes and deforms. has a very small overall weight width and doesn't have the nice felt bottom that this record weight from Turntable Labs has. Note: You can also easily remove the stamped Turntable Labs name with rubbing alcohol which…

Pros
  • Special Offer
Cons
  • Hard to say

Great solution for leveling imperfect vinyl.

Working perfectly as described. This helps smooth out imperfect vinyl. There is a felt pad on the bottom to protect your labels. My turntable was very stable so I can't comment on how the weight stabilizes the RPM. In my opinion, the drawn logo cheapened the appearance of the product. I was able to remove it with rubbing alcohol in less than a minute (as others have mentioned).

Pros
  • Solid finish
Cons
  • Damaged

Not as advertised

I was very upset with this purchase. I don't think that's even made by Turntable Lab. I only bought it through Amazon because the Turntable Lab website said it was out of stock. The logo is clearly printed at the top of the listing picture on Amazon but not the one I received. It also arrived in the worst packaging for record weight and shipping. Nothing like other items I have purchased from Turntable Lab. I couldn't get it back in time and ended up keeping it to myself.

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Other interesting options are available.

This is a great looking and functional chrome record weight. This is the best I could find for the money and far better than the Audio Technica AT618. I tried the AT first and it has a couple of major flaws, the biggest being the outer ring which is all rubber so it flexes and deforms. has a very narrow overall weight width and lacks the beautiful felt base that this record weight from Turntable Labs has. Labs is a great buy at around $50. The only weight that is better is the $90 project…

Pros
  • This is great
Cons
  • Some bugs
