Perfect for my Raspberry Pi Zero

I bought this for my new Raspberry Pi Zero. I needed to connect more USB devices to this small IoT device. This adapter helped. I understood that when I bought it, but you must understand that you can use it as a USB hub or a power delivery device. You cannot use both at the same time. Not a big deal but might disappoint someone if they don't find it.

Always reach for the plug, not the cord like I did

Very cheap quality. The connector literally broke off the first time I unplugged the charger from it (see picture) so I had to force the connector open and re-solder it. Moral of the story: Always reach for the plug, not the cord like I did. Both my phone and tablet support OTG. With a phone you can use OTG and charge at the same time, but with a tablet you can only do one or the other, not both. Works with nuvision 8 inch tab after reboot

I hesitated to buy this after some Q&A and reviews saying it could not work as charger and OTG at the same time. Thank you for the review that suggested restarting your tablet in charging mode and it will do everything. It worked for me but you need to restart or it only works as a top up/OTG. There is a switch on the right side. Putting it in OTG mode allows multiple USB devices to communicate with your device. By switching it to charging, you charge your device. For some devices, switching to charging disables the USB connection to the device. For some devices, switching to charging mode puts the hub into simultaneous mode, charging and granting access to the device. How to use it at the same time: Charge and connect your Windows tablet

With a little creativity, this OTD adapter can work great. This worked for me for several weeks. He left the Windows tablet charged and connected to all other interfaces. My tablet was on 24/7.
