Practical and comfortable

Excellent blind bearing puller. He feels very strong. It's big enough for regular use. You may be wondering why you don't have one if you are a shade tree mechanic or mechanic. For repairing engines, alternators, starters, water pumps, etc.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Some cons

Poor manufacture, confusing return policies

There are cheaper alternatives on Amazon. I suggest one of them. The 20mm collet doesn't step on the slide hammer and that's the only thing I needed. other collets are screwed on very roughly or at an angle. Terrible production process of the apparent plagiarism movement. I was trying to return this one and they have a very complicated process so I'm stuck with this and they will charge you to return the broken item.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Some minor issues

The Tusk knot was by far the best buy. Minutes after arrival

I have never changed a wheel bearing on any bike before, my kx500 had a rear wheel damage with a stuck rear wheel bearing. The Tusk knot was by far the best buy. According to the handbook, a few minutes after his arrival, the first of the three camps failed. The second camp came in the same way as the first. The third was in the middle of the hub and I had to pop it out with a nut and hammer, ok? I would still recommend this tool set, very well made and in a nice box to carry around.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

does the job. in Tools & Equipment

I've only had to use this tool a few times but so far so good. Indispensable for thrust bearings with blind holes. The fit and finish isn't as good as the Motion Pro I've used in the past and the slide hammer is different from the picture. Spreader collets are a very tight fit. I had to squeeze them with pliers to insert them into the bearing, which is good. I recommend lubricating the threads and cone before use. If I expected to use this tool more often, I would have chosen a nicer device…

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Some bugs

Do Your Own Maintenance

Bearing puller used/used for the first time. Read some reviews and videos about different processes. This tool is reliable, well made and easy to use. Another type of MP tool works on the same principle, but also does not engage the bearings. The Tusk bearing puller actually has lugs that give you leverage when removing the bearings. Just hold the collet firmly against it. Several sizes are available for all types of bearing expansion. tips. Consider using a blowtorch to heat the metal around…

Pros
  • A must for beginners and serious mechanics alike.
Cons
  • Slightly dented

Good quality bearing puller/puller at a good price

Bought a TUSK bearing puller for a motorcycle restoration. Overall, the build quality of this bearing puller kit is very good. I had to purchase 35mm and 40mm mandrels separately to pull the upper and lower headset bearings on my Kawasaki frame as the OD of these bearing rings is recessed into the frame tube that supports them. first, and this process could be simplified with more detailed instructions, so here are some tips. You need to place a pick on the race (or bearing) you want to pull…

Pros
  • Made of durable, hardened steel.
Cons
  • So-so

Do the impossible.

Availability Removing stuck bearings from 1970's motorcycle wheels is impossible without the right tools. Fortunately, this is the right tool. I used the largest collet for the yoke bearing and one of the smaller sizes for the remaining three bearings. Getting 8 different jackhammer collets for the price I paid was amazing as it eliminated any sizing guessing and potential delays. A well made injection molded plastic case is good for holding a set of pullers and keeping everything in one place.

Pros
  • Sliding hammer and 8 collets (8, 10, 12, 15, 17, 20, 25, 30mm) that attach to bearings and plastic housing are included.
Cons
  • Update
