Important update: Pegs

I replaced the stock pegs on my Dual Sport with these and am glad I did. Easy to install, amazing grip/feel and they look amazing.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Can't remember

Overpriced but they work great.

Nice and wide but they reduce the distance between the shifter and the rear brake lever. If you have a large foot, it can cause an unintended upshift problem.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Expensive

So comfortable! in Motorcycle & Powersports

My first set of aftermarket pegs after 50 years of stock pegs. I can't believe what I missed! I'm old and fat and I just can't stand on narrow bars forever. It feels like standing on footrests.

Pros
  • Well built
Cons
  • New competition emerged

Difficult installation

Good pins, but due to the strong spring action and operating angle, not only were the screws difficult to align, but the "C" clamp washer was very difficult to engage. I was only able to install one. No instructions or suggestions provided. Annoying.

Pros
  • I look forward to
Cons
  • gone

excellent upgrade; You'll wonder why you didn't.

On my KLR 650 they decide how long I can stand. The pegs required me to walk several kilometers before having to sit down or stop to rest my calves on the rough terrain. I can walk them for miles, as who would say. A great upgrade for an adventure bike; You'll wonder why you didn't do it sooner!

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • Don't know

Fantastic pegs for my vstrom 650. KLR pegs fit. Cute

Well first I ordered these klr footrests because I heard rumors that they would fit my Suzuki Vstrom 650. They only match a small scuff on the back. Let's finish the dremel. I love her. The spring even fits perfectly into the mount once you figure out the direction. Love them, super grippy and bigger than standard pegs. Definitely worth $

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • So far so good

High quality product.

This is really good quality. I have Tusk baskets and basket mounts and bought them based on my experience with them. Tusk products are always way better than I expected. I assume this is based on their price which is usually much lower than competing products. In any case, they are easy to install (5 minutes) and very good. Great grip, they look and feel good. At this price you really can't go wrong, nor anywhere else.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Some flaws

Made for KLR but perfect for my V-Strom

After reading on several forums that KLR footpegs are perfect for my 2014 V-strom 1000 I decided to give them a try. They fit perfectly and make a HUGE difference in comfort and stability whether sitting or standing. Installation was very easy - just pull a pin - and the build quality seems great. I've read some other reviews (on various websites) of these footpegs saying they don't handle heavy loads well, but for general riding and occasional off-road riding they sure are fine. I should also…
