Very good collaboration tool - user friendly and extensible

I like that it is open source, so if you want to customize something there are thousands of different ways possible! It's really easy for new users/people not familiar with wiki software or web development in general (like myself) because everything can be done via html pages instead using an interface similar only used by seasoned coders who have been editing HTML since high school days lol.. Nothing specifically at this time but i'm sure someone will think about how they could improve things…

Pros
  • Easy way make collaboration between coworkers
  • Very flexible solution allowing user freedom.
  • Can easily implement your own functionality into TwiKi such creating customized workflow processes
  • Free hosting available upon request from customer service team
Cons
  • There are troubles

Great Wiki Platform - Excellent User Experience

The best thing about this product is that it's easy to use, configure, customize for your needs, etc. It also has some very cool features like wikis, which are not as common in other wiki products out there. I wish they had more documentation/tutorials available so new users could get up-to-speed faster than with their own trial version of the software. This is an excellent tool if you're looking for something that will help organize information quickly. We've used this product at work and have

Pros
  • TWiki is a very easy to use wiki product that's easy to configure and maintain
Cons
  • It is a little difficult to get users up to speed on how to use TWiki with no prior knowledge of the software

Open-source php platform used worldwide by various communities

I like that it is open source, so we can have access to all of its functions for free (or at least very cheap). It's great because you don't need any special software or applications in order run your wiki; just install this program into one folder with PHP support enabled! The only thing about Twikis which i dislike are their terms & conditions page as they state many things but do not clearly explain them nor give examples how these rules should be implemented within our website/wiki pages…

Pros
  • All features available immediately after installation unlike other similar platforms where new installations take days before updates become visible once again.
Cons
  • Not having much experience installing programs onto Linux servers yet therefore no idea whether server side has restrictions regarding running some types / versions os operating systems

DokuWiki - great choice when looking into document collaboration

I like that you can use it in a collaborative environment, where people from different departments contribute to each other's projects. It is easy to set up for multiple users, so there are no problems with setting permissions or anything of this sort. Some features could be improved, but overall it works just fine. We're using it as an internal wiki service at our work place. The fact that we have full control over the content makes managing changes much easier than if they were made by…

Pros
  • Easy interface
  • Full admin rights available without administrator role; all necessary privileges reside within everyone already having ordinary user account.
  • Relatively simple configuration requirements everything required must go into one file which includes database connection details! Also very short learning curve when getting started.
  • Lots upon lots more information here http://twikiguidebook/

Perfect Wiki Tool For Internal Communication

It is easy to use, has many features including search capabilities via Apache Solr which makes it one of my favorite tools for knowledge management in our organization! The interface could be more intuitive but that's not really an issue with this product as I am able find what i'm looking at without too much difficulty or help from other users who know how things work better than me :) We are using twikki wiki internally within TCS (Theatre Consultants Services) so we have been very happy thus

Pros
  • Its simple yet powerful way around Knowledge Management & Documentation
  • Easy accessability also means faster turnaround times !!! Also integrates well withe modern security needs like apache solrcore.etc.to ease administration
Cons
  • Mostly okay, but...
