Lid does not fit perfectly in kitchen and dining room

Lid does not fit properly. I'm sitting on the edge, not lying on the bowl. When burning in the ladle, the lid must have loosened a little. it still works.

Pros
  • Very good price

The perfect little fondue set!

I bought this fondue set for our hikes and it worked great! It is very durable and of excellent quality. The only downside was that the included burner didn't ignite at all, so we had to use whatever we had on hand. Prepare an alternate heat source, just in case, if you try.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Some bugs

Pretty Plastic Free Trash

I bought this grater while looking for a box grater with no plastic parts. This one is really behind. This is boring. I tried grating a carrot but it came out in chunky chunks. Then I tried hard cheese. I had to exert so much pressure. I don't see how it should even be a functional tool.

  • Pleasure
Cons

I don't know how to ignite.

That's nice, but it doesn't come with instructions on how to light the burner. I can't even find anything online. I'm considering returning it as I have no idea how to heat it up. I don't know why there were no instructions. I can't find any information to contact the seller so I can get information. I will change my rating when the seller emails me instructions.

Pros
  • I'm holding my fists
Cons
  • A little fixable

Nice fondue set!

Very nice fondue set, but slightly uneven in the ceramic paint, not smooth. Also, the numbered skewers were wrong. We have two 2's. I think that's why he had a little discount. Finally, the packaging was fine, but it looked like the box had been on the shelf for a long time. Nonetheless, I am very happy with my purchase and looking forward to this holiday season.

Works and looks good!

Great 6th wedding anniversary gift. Strong iron in a beautiful color. I bought Rewine, offered Sterno and melted cheese in this unit. No need to heat and move in a pot. Simply cut into pieces and take your time enjoying the process. I would consider a second or third option with chocolate, butter and cheese for a larger dinner. I agree with the comment regarding the lack of instructions on how to use the included burner. It looks like a zippo wick but there is no advice on what to put in it or…

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Good grater, like my old one.

We need a stainless steel grater. This one seems to fit the bill even though we had quite a bit of time. We chose this one because it looks very similar to our old grater we've had since the 70's. I didn't understand what the gem actually was and donated it on our last step. Since then we've had several other graters that weren't as good. The one he was holding fell apart and the handle fell loose. The standee was difficult to clean as it had rubber on the bottom. You don't really need rubber…

  • Fingers crossed

Lucky Buy: Kitchen & Dining

It is durable and very attractive. I used it for cheese fondue and it worked well. My guests thought it was beautiful. The "chrome gel burner" is cheaply made, as are the forks, especially compared to the forks on my original 1971 fondue pot. The description says the pot comes with a "rubber wood base," which actually is only wood. I don't understand how the rubber is supposed to work. The main downside is that the sturdy cast iron base gets very hot, as I found when I covered the Sterno jar…

Pros
  • Always liked
Cons
  • Makes me nervous
