This hub works great with my Macbook Pro, I need an HDMI slot for presentations at client offices where everyone uses Windows and the USB-A ports are handy , I don't have to buy as many adapters or spare cables.

This docking station is advertised and cleverly designed because it connects to the computer rather than at the end of a cable. However, the docking station must be fully plugged in for it to work. If you have a regular Mac Pro case, it won't connect completely because the case (even though it's very thin) is in the way. Also, any movement of the computer can detach the docking station.

Hello, I'm honest. The product is not easy to use. The build quality is excellent, all connections work. The product does what it is supposed to do, but my MBP is very tight. Removing it from my MBP is a big hassle. I'm afraid this may damage the pins or USB Type-C connector. The user must be very careful when using it, especially when removing it. I will NOT recommend this. Although it feels premium.

Everything works fine except for the SD card slot. I tried three SD cards from different brands, they don't fit. It seems like the actual slot inside the case needs to be relocated slightly, just enough to allow the SD cards to scrape off instantly and then not slide all the way. I won't be using the SD card slot as I was concerned that my SD cards would actually break, which has happened with cheaper SD readers in the past. USB slots seem to be working at the moment, mouse and keyboard tested.

I've been using this for over a month now and so far so good. It's overpriced in my opinion, but it works well with HDMI, the picture quality is great, it's compact and easy to carry.
