Identical to my 2004 Mazda 6 with 2.3 liter 4 cylinder engine. Well made and worked really well when I first started my car. Incredible price. Very satisfied!

The quality of the goods was not the best. I called customer service and they referred me to Revain. Who referred me to the wholesaler. Life in the online world.

Thing was a heap of junk. I installed it in my wife's car, an 03 Mazda 6 2.3L and she turned the car over ONCE perfectly. After about ten starts, i.e. after 2 days, the starter no longer engages the flywheel and just spins. I'll take it out and send it back for a full refund.

Exactly as described. The cold start is impressive in sub-zero temperatures. Much cheaper than the closeouts offered at local AZ and AA. Even cheaper than Rock Auto, which surprised me. The factory starter has 190,000 miles on it so hopefully this one will last at least half that (quite a hassle replacing it with a Mazda 6 2.3).

I bought this for a Mazda 6. It fits perfectly and hassle free. It's been 6 months so I can't say how long it will be but I'm sure the car will be scrapped before then. There are better appetizers out there, but for the price, you can't beat this one. If you need a cheap starter to get you back on the road, this is it. I was looking for the cheapest newcomer. That was it
