Failed after 5 months

I bought this fan assembly for our 2013 Nissan Pathfinder. Fan motor bearing failure is very common on these vehicles as there is a Nissan Service Bulletin on how to replace the fan assembly. I consider this assembly to be a less expensive alternative than a Nissan factory part. Experienced in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems and replacing the assembly was very easy. I installed the build and after 5 months the fan control module that came with the build failed. I ordered…

Great replacement fan assembly for 2015 Nissan Pathfinder

We bought our 2015 Nissan Pathfinder in April and didn't need to use the air conditioning. As soon as it was warm enough to turn on the AC, we pushed the button and the fan literally roared. The noise is so loud and the vibration so strong that you not only hear it, you can feel it through the brake pedal. Did some old internet research and found this to be a common problem for scouts with about 40,000 miles on them. Yes. We had 41,000 miles and it happened. Bought this fan from Revain after…

The original equipment fans would start making a "whining" noise and would only start clicking after a few days, and then they would start sounding like about 200 nuts and bolts in a clothes dryer. It didn't take long to search the internet and I found this "known issue" with the Pathfinder fan bearings failing. I have searched other auto parts websites and the only difference is that…

Worked on our 2013 Infiniti JX35; short video about the culprit

After about 140,000 miles our 2013 Infiniti JX started making a rattling/knocking noise which was intermittent at first and then within a week the knocking got louder and repeated every time the fan kicked . When I was in Texas in August, with weeks of temperatures hovering around 100F, this fan was always on and noisy. I've attached a video of the noise you can see, as well as the fan flapping, which is said to be due to bearing failure. This is a known issue on 2013 JX35 (later renamed QX60…
