Replaces former 2001 Civic fan

Great! Works great. However, it can be a little awkward to get. If you have trouble, remove the glove box. There are two 1/2" screws on the bottom and the clips inside slide out. Just remember to keep the glove box closed when removing it. Also, get a new air filter because that one is probably very dirty in there! This worked for my ex 2001 civilian car.

If I knew it was that easy to replace

Worked great in my 2004 Honda Element! If I had known it was that easy to switch, I wouldn't have waited until I had to press the bottom edge of the dash to turn it on. That quiet whisper, with a powerful effect. it works! Buy a replacement cabin filter while you're there, mine looked like I threw it out of a full vacuum bag. I seriously doubt that what I was constantly shown at Zippy Lube was even mine. I bet mine was original. it was so bad!

Perfect fit, only for 2001-2005 civilian vehicles. - Airflow like new.

I've seen some bad reviews because it doesn't fit and doesn't really trust Revain "it will fit your car". If you have a 2001-2005 Honda Civic LX DX or EX, this one will fit. Took about 30 minutes to install and the air conditioner/heater burns like new. The noise level is about the same as before. When installing this, install the cabin filter at the same time and vacuum/clean both areas. I hope I never have to change this part again (the first one lasted 10 years / 175,000 miles.

2005 Honda Civic LX

I live in Florida and need air conditioning more for survival than comfort and when my 16 year old car's fan motor died I almost panicked. Ordered this unit for about a third of what auto parts stores wanted and was able to install it in about 20 minutes with just a screwdriver. So just in case we both replaced

My old fan in my 2004 Honda Element started to slow down, start making noise (like a kid pressing a playing card against the spokes of a bike wheel) and eventually died. Was replaced by this fan. At the same time I replaced the resistor with "Beck Arnley 204-0005 Fan Motor Resistor". I'm not sure if the resistor needs this, but since the resistor has a very large heatsink that's cooled by the airflow from the fan, it could overheat. So we swapped them both out, just in case.
