Great price! Installs in seconds on my Wrangler 06. It's actually quieter than the OEM. As for more air movement I really only notice more at the two lower settings, the two higher fan speeds seem to blow about the same as the old one but quieter which I like.

Moves a lot of air silently. Arrived well packaged and there are several YouTube videos showing how to replace the fan. The best part is that the hijacker asked for $300 for repairs! $150 for one piece and 1 1/2 hours. labor $100 an hour. All it cost me was the price of the part and 20 minutes of my time, yes 20 minutes was all it took!

The fan motor is exactly what I expected. Very easy to install on my 2006 Jeep LJ. It's no louder than my factory engine that I replaced. My bad motor also fried my new fan motor resistor that I just installed. If you replace this.suggest also create a resistor. And clean the hood of debris that has brought water into the footwell, messed up the engine, etc. Great value here.

I had burned resistors so I switched to max fan speed. I didn't have the equipment to measure my old fan's performance and was struggling to convince myself to just replace the fan that still seemed to work. slower than the previous one, so I'm pretty sure the old one drew too much current and would quickly burn out the resistor of my new fan motor and possibly the wires and/or switch in the process.

After reading the reviews I figured I needed a new fan. Try a resistance first if you don't get enough speed from your control switch. I only had 4th/high speed. It was fairly easy to replace, all you needed was a Phillips head screwdriver for the front screws that hold the panel under the glove box.
