Perfect fit for my BMW 320i

If you have some DIY skills this will be easy. For example, if you can't fit a spark plug in a lawn mower, have someone else do it. Note, however, that the dealer will charge you three numbers for work, just for work. $000.00

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Good but not great

Does the job? - Cabin air filter

Fits like a glove. A scary and annoying process to filter these cars but I did it with patience. But once you get to the filter, installing a new one is easy. No problem. Will I notice a difference in air quality? nope! But that's because I keep changing these things every 15,000 miles.

Pros
  • Robust design
Cons
  • Hard to say

Great OEM quality at a great price

I've had my 435i for about 3 years. I always assumed BMW only changed it when they were servicing my car. Think no! The installation takes about 10-15 minutes. To remove the panels you will need a 10mm socket wrench and a set of Torx screwdrivers. It doesn't look like a Japanese car, easily accessible from the glove box. Really good OEM quality. AC feels stronger and colder in my opinion.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Hard to tell

F30 / BMW 335i fits filter

Bought because of low price. Looks solid and has confidence the product will stand the test of time. The stealership where I got my oil changed recommended replacing a few filters and charged me an insane amount of money. I bought both filters (cabin filter / air filter) through AMZN; I searched YouTube for information on installing a cabin air filter and saved a lot of money. By the way, getting to the cabin filter is not easy.

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • Useless features

Great filter for the price

I have a 2013 f30 328i sedan, the car started smelling something inside. After the OEM filter drove about 25,000 miles I decided to replace it. I found this filter, liked some of the reviews about it and gave it a try. This is a great filter. Took about 10 minutes to install, the smell in the car was gone, and now after using this new filter for almost 2 months I am very happy with it. I'll definitely be buying another one in 15,000km or so.

Good filter(?), difficult to install for 2014 BMW 328i

I think the filter works well and is much cheaper to buy and install. But let me be very clear: THIS IS NOT EASY TO INSTALL. I would only recommend this if you have machinery experience and are willing to work in a very uncomfortable position under the dash. You can find helpful tutorial videos on YouTube. I had to buy a set of metric sockets (wrenches don't work) for one of the nuts. For me it's worth it. In comparison, changing the engine air filter (BMW 328i 2014) went smoothly, at least I…

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Something different

Cheap replacement

I bought this for my 2012 BMW 328i (F30). The cabin filter has never been changed on this car and I feel terrible after changing the filter. By the way, changing the cabin filter is not so easy. You need to take out two nuts, then pull out the panel > unplug the two wire connectors > remove the filter cover (looks like a boomerang). Be careful, this boomerang has wires or something, so don't pull too tight. Then the filter must be bent and installed. When bending this new filter, it…
