Nice idea electronics

Bought this off my Wishlist as an indulgent COVID purchase. Even with that promotion (no additional discount due to the pandemic), it was still about $150 before taxes and all. It's a nice idea, but I'll share what I liked and didn't like and why I decided to bring it back. Nice to look at. Too bad the surgery was painful.

I had high hopes for this item when I first bought it. I loved the retro style of the old typewriter and honestly it didn't disappoint when I opened the box. This was my first mechanical wireless keyboard. I liked the feel of the keys, especially the saddle shape, and mechanical keyboards are definitely more comfortable to type on than their counterparts. Solid knowledge base, nice touch, attractive looks, a few minor inconveniences and one small issue

First my biggest complaint. I'm an "almost blind typist" trained in IBM style keyboards for over 30 years. I'm used to the increased spacing on the F and J keys so I know my hands are properly aligned on the home row. Even though this keyboard has markings on these keys (and they're backlit), my index fingers don't feel anything. As a result, I sometimes type what reads like phonetic Russian when my fingers touch keys that they "think" are correct but aren't. Otherwise, I double-press quite…
