Love it for laps

For many years I've swum in sweaters from different manufacturers that share a similar design: a stretchy layer of fabric that's lined for complete privacy. They all lasted about the same amount of time and wore the same: after a few months of regular use (despite the fact that they were always thoroughly washed with fresh water after use) the chlorine started to thin the fabric until the suit became baggy and translucent. They run true to size. I usually wear men's trousers with a waist size of 34 (in the summer when I'm more active I can fit into a 33) and this 34 fits perfectly, almost skin-tight but stretchy enough to allow freedom of movement. They have a very low resistance and dry quickly. They're a little tight at the knees, but mainly to reduce drag. My hip measurement at the ends of the jammers is about 17.125 inches and they are still comfortable but narrower than the non-elite solid jammers. The black

Very comfortable and durable muffler to the touch

Update: The suit isn't exactly thicker, it's just two layers and two more layers that wear out and become baggy. Of course they are over a year old and I swim 2-3 times a week but not consistently this year. Now I think it's time to replace them as the material is a bit dented here and there. No holes or frays, but the material is definitely "loose" and doesn't feel as comfortable and compressive as it used to. They last longer than single layer suits, so it's useful.
