After almost two decades of competitive swimming I've finally found a suit , which can not cause shoulder constriction (when the straps are thick to prevent stretching) or stretch easily (when the straps are thin).

and I am very happy with them

This will be my third phone and I am very happy with it. I use it for open water competitions and it works very well. Definitely go smaller compared to your regular swimsuit. I usually wear a size 30 but instead I wear a 28 and it fits perfectly. I'm 5 feet 1,115 pounds. For the price I would say it is a great product.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Only available in black

You can't go wrong with TYR!

I entered my first Masters pool competition (I'm 55 years old) in this costume and it was AMAZING! Really elegant and professional looking! They are designed to fit snugly with a slight edge, which also takes some getting used to. I used it for a 2 day swim competition and it was great! The world went into quarantine so all my events have since been cancelled. I look forward to suing again when I get my change to the competition, hopefully soon! This is a really great starter tech suit that…

Low quality material. Not built to last!

Less than a year old! I bought it in April 2015 and in February 2016 it was worn down on the lower back, back straps and chest area making the fabric completely see through and therefore unusable. I've used it once a week on average, albeit that often, and yet it's less than a year of use. Not only did I replace it with another model, I also replaced it with a model from a different brand. This time I'll try Speedo to see if I have better luck this time. During use, the elastic on the straps…

Don't waste your money

So disappointed with this tech suit. First one I bought for my 11 year old swimmer. She measured a size 24 but I didn't want to go that small so I went for a 26. Ripped at the seam on first wear (but we were in a meeting and only found out after a warm-up). This is right at the hip seam, a clear connection of the product. It looks like the seam was just cut too tight when they trimmed it off after sewing. Obviously I couldn't get it back after she abused it in the pool so I had to fix things…

  • Perfect for outdoor activities

  • Nothing

Great racing suit: one piece

I bought this suit for long distance open water swimming and I love it. Many other reviews mentioned that the suit was completely see-through and form fitting, but that was to be expected; this is a competition suit and should only be worn at national competitions or competitions in which swimmers participate. Also, the price of this suit is extremely reasonable considering a lot of really advanced suits are over $300 today and I think this suit is just as good. I bought this for a 4.4 mile…

Size 36 fits snug

I wanted a more conservative swimsuit as I have a bit of a curvy and wanted to wear something more conservative. I'm 160 pounds and 5.5 inches tall and I usually wear size 10-12 pants. Size 36 fits comfortably and snugly, which I liked because it holds everything you need well. This suit has a great modern and sporty fit, unlike the Dolphin Aquatard which I also tried on. The suit is thin but nowhere too thin except in the bra area. No built-in bra. I ended up buying a bikini top to wear under…
