Disappointing Winch Rope for Automotive Use

Based on my observations, this winch rope is not worth the investment. The material feels cheap and flimsy. Although it may be synthetic, it doesn't seem to hold up as well as other brands. The only pro is that it's bright orange, which makes it easy to locate in a toolbox. However, the cons outweigh this small benefit. I recommend researching other options before settling on this one.

Pros
  • Durable and abrasion-resistant, making it ideal for heavy-duty winching tasks.
Cons
  • Prone to fraying and breaking under extreme tension, posing a safety risk to users.

Wrong color received

quality material and I would have given it 5 stars but I ordered blue and got yellow. To be fair the bag says 'blue' but it's yellow, after all I'm sure it will work the same way.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Hard to remember but it was

It's not 1/4 ", it's 5/16 "

In my case, size matters. It's not 1/4 inch, it's 5/16. I don't use this as it was set up to be used so I'm sure no one will care if it's a bit bigger but it makes a difference to me and my application. There's nothing wrong with that, and it's a good return for me anyway, but I'm just pointing it out.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Contemporary
