Faulty automotive compressor disappoints

This compressor was a complete let down. It failed to cool my automotive engine as expected, leaving me disappointed and frustrated. The only positive aspect is that it was easy to install. Unfortunately, the lack of proper function far outweighs that one pro. I do not recommend this product to anyone in need of a reliable automotive compressor.

Pros
  • Efficient and reliable compressor for various applications.
Cons
  • The compressor is relatively loud during operation, which may be disruptive in certain settings.

WILL NOT FIT 2011 FORD EDGE - THOUGH IT SHOWS

Electrical Plug Will Not Fit 2011 Ford Edge. I had to cut the wires, solder the connector from the old compressor to the new one, and heat shrink tubing around everything. The work itself is not difficult, but the problem is not detecting a malfunction in the connector until it is screwed back onto the car. Introducing another potential source of error into the process is certainly not an ideal scenario either.

Pros
  • Replacement Parts
Cons
  • Requires Socket

What you need in a hopeless situation if you have the necessary money.

The product was convenient to replace the broken one but broke 6 months after installation. Damaged screws in the item resulted in over $1,000 in vehicle repairs. Plus the guarantee is not included as a joke. I tried to contact about the warranty and was told that broken screws in the product are not covered by the warranty. Don't buy if you can avoid it. It will only cost you more money in the long run. My advice. Contact your dealer or an authorized mechanic to solve the problem.
