Insanely good system

It's hard to find words that adequately describe how good these systems are. up to 600 Mbit/s. Our internet connection is 50 down and 12 up and we have full speed all the time. The great thing about the system is that it gives you the tools to refine the signal. The UI shows you when the signal is present, so you can tweak the settings and see if that helps or hurts your bandwidth. Note: The best signal has a CINR of 34 mdb. Often, lowering the transmit power will reduce interference andโ€ฆ

High performance and narrow antenna pattern penetrates obstacles

I used these NanoBeams to replace a couple of NanoBeams that weren't doing the job. My 300m link goes through some trees and hedges and the Fresnel zone is partially covered by a building. not a good situation but I couldn't find a better way. Nanostation gave me a maximum throughput of 30 Mbps and often dropped below 10 Mbps. The Nanobeam, with its higher gain and power, cuts through trees and obstacles surprisingly well. I still need to run them at maximum performance, but I can get aโ€ฆ

You will not be disappointed

Have had them for about 9 months. The extraordinary strength of these little fellows, very impressed with the connection at a distance of about 3/4 miles (1.1 km). Reliable, 0 ms ping, around 400 Mbit/s, quite good. I ran it through my neighbor's roof, but I still get about -55dB at each end (-58dB on particularly humid days). Survived the Chicago winter without much stuttering. I just love these guys, I love them! Painted black with Krylon Fusion spray paint ($5 at TrueValue), looks good - noโ€ฆ

Great bridge for computers and accessories

After updating the firmware (free from the Ubiquiti website) the device worked perfectly. My speed is 600-650 Mbps. I use it to send a signal through my driveway, so it's probably a bit overkill for only 50 feet, but I didn't want to lose speed. I like the indicator lights on both devices, which allow you to see signal strength at a glance. The UI has a lot of settings and dimensions that the average user (like me) won't need, but it's also pretty easy to set up if you have a moderate webโ€ฆ

Great company and product

I had slow internet and the charter wanted to charge $20,000 for internet connection to my property (7.25ac). They used to use a microwave setup, but they didn't want to increase internet speeds, and there was no relief on the horizon. I found a home for a FIOS setup and now it's falling around 150/150 and couldn't be happier. It's great to join the rest of the world. I don't know why these ISPs can't do this in some of their remote areas if they don't want to run cable. The satellite is tooโ€ฆ

Easy install better than running wires

I live on a conservation area with 4 buildings located in the middle of a 260 acre property. The main house has HughesNet Gen5 service but there was no internet in the cottage and stables. I wanted to install IP security cameras and smart thermostats in other buildings, also it would be nice to have internet access from the outbuildings. I've been using Ubiquiti for home WiFi for many years and I'm happy with the performance and quality, so I ordered the NBE-5AC-19. I didn't need the internalโ€ฆ

Excellent units! I'm currently using two of these as a wireless link between two buildings across the street and diagonally apart (but with clear line of sight except for a few spurs). The speed is really impressive and by far the most economical way to connect this guy. So far we only have 3 users on the link so I'm not sure if this will get bogged down with more but I'll find out in a few weeks when we move 4 more. Our biggest problem with this was getting the wiring and grounding right, asโ€ฆ
