After updating the firmware (free from the Ubiquiti website) the device worked perfectly. My speed is 600-650 Mbps. I use it to send a signal through my driveway, so it's probably a bit overkill for only 50 feet, but I didn't want to lose speed. I like the indicator lights on both devices, which allow you to see signal strength at a glance. The UI has a lot of settings and dimensions that the average user (like me) won't need, but it's also pretty easy to set up if you have a moderate web experience. Before you buy this device, be sure to study it, it's not just "plug and play".
