Enough to say about nanobeams!

You saved our farm. For years we have suffered from 1.5Mbps DSL as we are constrained by the distance to the nearest copper ISP. After learning the fiber was less than 2 miles away I was able to arrange with the ISP that we could connect and after that I took care of everything. That's where these little beauties come in. I use 9 nanobeams on our farm, 4 are used to deliver fiber to the central building (store) and 5 are used to connect fiber to 3 houses within 300 meters of the store. This…

Pros
  • Outstanding Overall Achievement
Cons
  • No Form Required

Ethernet port only 100Mbps

Device seems reliable, only used a few days but my WiFi is faster than wired. Why would you put a 100Mbps port in a bridge that can have wireless capabilities that can exceed that speed? It doesn't make much sense to me. I wish I had realized that when I bought it. I never thought a wired port would affect my network speed, I assumed it was a gigabit port.

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • Some flaws

I had concerns about the attitude. Literally just installed.

Concerns about the facility. Just set up one as a hotspot with SSID and password, and then another as a station with the same SSID and password. BAM. They work. So easy. I can't even see mine. One is furthest away in the house, and the other is in the front window of another house. Another 100% signal.

Pros
  • Useful not only for the intended purpose
Cons
  • Without insurance

This radio is great! I use it to connect my church sanctuary.

This is an amazing radio! I use it to connect my church room to the administration building where the internet connection is. Tried WIFI but too patchy for live streaming service. I can read (via computer interface) noise floor, signal level, CCQ, TX/RX frequency. all the parameters to know my link is good. This 5GHz line has been working for me for over a year now. Flawless (after figuring out how to set it up).

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Modern

Love ubiquitous things with few complaints.

Again. So far I've liked Ubiquiti stuff. One microscopic complaint I have is that the POE injector in THIS product didn't come with a mount. I got one with my AC Lite AP but with two injectors. a bracket. you understand the problem. The other issue I had, which was my fault, was that you MUST update this product before installing it. Preferably in a lab with internet access. NOT at the top of the stairs with your mobile phone. It is not recommended to balance a laptop, cellphone and tools on…

Pros
  • The best
Cons
  • The packaging is ugly

Which Wireless Access Points

Couldn't ever get them to work. They tried for three days but to no avail. Ubiquity doesn't have any customer service to speak of unless you look at the 500 pages of customer service on the forum or can tweet them. Customer service is either provided by the customer or not provided at all. If for some reason you can't get this to work with a static IP, you'll have to download the program to find it again, which requires 8 usernames and passwords, which you only get after a quick mention after…

Pros
  • Looks good
Cons
  • Have doubts

Cheap technology that used to cost thousands

Wow. You obviously need two things. I sent WiFi to my docking station to get the most out of the WiFi at the dock at my lake house. Installation was easy. Construction? Need a little help but love Nano Beam. Once I receive my switch and router for the docking station? It went on the air and was amazing. These things can go for miles. I usually needed a morning. I have it 😊

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Speed

Reliable quality products.

Yes, the product corresponds to the description. I was happy to find a new old product in stock. I have installed a few of these units and similar models. The 2 I installed as a clear bridge have been going up/up non-stop for the past 5 years. Adding a second to another building. You'll have to take apart an old XP computer to set them up.

Pros
  • Looking forward to it
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly
