DO NOT USE FOR PHILIPS HUE HOMEBRIDGE

Don't be like me. The product worked and worked well. I was an idiot trying to use it for the Philips Hue Homebridge. The device is a friend of my Home Bridge when I plug 12V into a 6V device. DO NOT USE THIS FOR PHILIPS HUE HOMEBRIDGE.

Does not support gigabit speeds

Please note this is a 10/100MB device. You don't get a gigabit connection with it. That's good for cameras and other endpoints, but a bottleneck for a Wi-Fi hotspot. Speed limit information was included in the product description but not in the pre-description. Another thing to note: the device supports the 802.3af and 802.3at standards. A big plus if you need more power on your end device.

Easy to use, works great, bought a pair to save space in my outlets. I have a 24 port poe switch and it works great and saves a lot of space in my network closet.

Works great with Reolink camera

Successfully upgraded my RLC-410WS to POE. I'm using a Netgear POE+ 8-port switch. All I had to do was unplug the 12V power to the camera from the wall, connect an active network cable to this adapter, connect power from the adapter to the camera, and connect ethernet from the adapter to the camera. Everything came as expected. The only question I really have is how long it will last. Needless to say, no power can create it out of thin air. You must have a POE switch or some sort of power…

Not sure if I got what I ordered or not

The unit itself has no markings other than the company that made it (no performance data with screen printed etc .) . I have no idea if this is a POE or POE+ device (I ordered the POE+ version as I needed 24W peak power). The only documentation I received was a piece of paper with the same illustrations as the product images; however (and this is one of the main reasons I'm not sure which device I have) is that the document claims it is a 5v 2A POE (802.3af, not 802.3at) device.
