Cover fits very well, except, like all the other covers for this model I've seen, it doesn't cover the lower rear corners. This is the 3rd cover I have bought for this macbook. The first two, different brands, cracked within a few weeks. All the covers on my previous macbook models have lasted years, which I assumed is because they were polycarbonate. I've never had a laptop case before so I was nervous about ordering one that fit. There's a manual that arrives with the case of your choice that walks you through checking the serial number the case will fit before you even open the case! It was easy to follow and it confirmed that I ordered the right case for my laptop!It also holds stickers in well if you want to arrange them within the case without sticking them on your laptop!

Great feel on the hard shell material. Bummed because I thought it would come with a keyboard cover like most computer covers! Stylish dark color. Material keeps greasy finger stains as you open the laptop.

I got the "matte clear" one - I wasn't expecting it to be quite SO matte that I wouldn't be able to view the stickers on my laptop through it very well; I had been hoping it'd just take the glare down.It's really more of a "frosted" style of transparency, that soft haze like you see on windows. I like the effect and look, just not what I happened to be wanting for my current laptop. Color is so beautiful but leaves finger prints and so hard to clean those finger prints. It looks so ugly with those marks. I tried multiple times ways to clean but nothing worked, unfortunately took off from my laptop. Wastage of money if dark colors are purchased.

So far this is doing the job of a protective case. I've this about 2 months and both casings are still on tight. Two issues so far. The casing is frosted, which tends to show oil marks from my hand gripping it. The other issue is the corners of the top lid are showing stress cracks and I'm not hard on the lap top. Basically just put in and take out of my back pack every day.

Purchased this in June 2020 and we're at the end of August 2022 now.The top of this case is still perfectly fine and useable. No issues. The bottom, however, has seen better days.
