Uflex X35 Mounting Bezel: Secure 20° Mounting in Sleek Black Design Review

I have purchased this UFLEX Faceplate Kit and a Sea Star Solutions BT Helmet. The problem is that the holes don't line up with the steering wheel. Be careful what you buy online. Extremely dissatisfied with this product. I will not return it after taking the photos, I will throw it in the trash where it belongs. I am giving this product zero stars good luck guys.

This 20 degree mounting bracket is useless with the Teleflex Sate-T swivel steering system. The hole in the center of the bracket is nowhere near large enough to accommodate the diameter of the steering shaft and is therefore not bolted to the swivel steering box. I ended up having to use the 90 degree kit that came with the Teleflex system which looks awful but fits perfectly. Theoretically, it would make sense if the center hole was adapted for the handwheels it claims to be compatible with.

I ordered a steering kit for my boat. The kit includes a Uflex X34 mounting kit (of the same brand). The problem was that the X34 positions the steering wheel directly towards me and I wanted the steering wheel to tilt up a bit. The instructions that came with the kit even included diagrams for mounting the X34 (straight at a 90 degree angle) and mounting that X35 hardware (at a 20 degree angle).
