Great project. The assembly requires more physical strength than I expected and had to help my granddaughter more than I expected. However, the finished project is excellent. I found that I had to apply spray silicone lube after assembly to ensure smooth operation. A YouTube video suggests waxing the gears before assembling, which might help.

This was particularly difficult because the instructions weren't always clear and the details often didn't fit as intended. The idea of using candle wax wasn't very effective and it was very confusing as to which parts to lubricate. I really like making things with my hands so I made this model twice. It's not easy to build, but it's not super difficult either. I would rate the assembly difficulty with 6 points, with 10 being the highest difficulty. You will need to be careful removing some of the pre-cut pieces as they may break.
