EDIT: Great controller, once you get the right software.

The only software I could find was V6.9 which is apparently wrong. It will not recognize the serial number of the board and I have been able to do nothing with this thing. It is impossible to find any info on it outside of revain and none of the links to supposed updated software work, they are all dead/broken. I even bought a CD drive to try to use the included mini CDR and that was a waste, the software wouldnt even install. Someone PLEASE post a link to the correct software and explain where

Good system, better support would make it 5 stars.

My system came with a bad CD. Fortunately I found a link to get into the basic webpage and get it set up. It’s a very nice system but without the original software you cannot have all the features that it offers. The download link on the card to come with the system once the version that does not work with this particular board. Does anybody have a link to the proper software to work with a longer serial numbers than just five digits. The 6.9 version on the website does not work with this…

Good system for the money. But system programming should be left up to the pros.

I installed this with very few problems. I have been doing security systems for 24 years. And the reason I bought this is I normally would pay about $1400.00 for a name brand system like this with all the features this offers. So I said I would give this system a try. It was very easy to install. But programming was somewhat difficult because of lack of more detailed instructions. I emailed the vender I got this from. And got a quick response back.
